CRIJ 1301: Introduction to Criminal Justice. Juan wrote this research paper as part of his Honors Project and also presented this at both the Honors Conference and the WAC Conference. The paper address the interesting paradox that while crime rates have been significantly decreasing in the U.S. the public perception is that crime is actually increasing. Juan’s paper addresses the possible causes for this disconnect from the reality about crime.
